Christian “Kirko” Kirksey of the Cleveland Browns launched his nonprofit foundation “Kirkoland,” and initiated awareness of it at the North vs. South game via sponsorship as a chance to introduce his movement to the city of Cleveland. What better place to showcase the movement than in a gym full of excited high schoolers! Kirkoland’s purpose is to aid and encourage individuals to be their authentic self. Through annual initiatives, Kirkoland aims to inspire individuals to be them, be proud, and be their own rockstar.
Kirkoland’s sponsorship aided in not only uniforms for both the boys and girls basketball teams, but also a “Kirkoland” section where Christian and other NFL players were able to interact with surrounding fans. We were honored to handle all of the logistics with Kirkoland’s involvement and aid in the creation of Kirkoland’s “Different On Purpose” and “Live Out Loud” t-shirts that a few lucky guests received as a giveaway. The fan-favorite, however, were the Kirkoland pop sockets!
To top off the night, Kirko presented the MVPs of both the girls and boys basketball games with MVP trophies, a signed jersey, and two tickets to a Browns’ game.
After a great night, one thing is for sure, the city is definitely feeling Kirkoland.
