After making national headlines for his franchise record 98-yard pick six, Bobby Wagner wanted to give back in a special way. During the holiday season, Bobby made it his priority to help underserved children in the Seattle community by taking them on a surprise shopping spree at his expense.
In honor of the 98 yards that Wagner rushed, 98 children from the King County Boys & Girls Club (Rotary & Rainer Vista Clubs) and YMCA (Concord Center) rushed a local Target and picked out the gifts that made their season bright.
Additionally, children received t-shirts, swag bags and gift cards from Bellevue Chick-Fil-A, Safeway, Starbucks, Trophy Cupcakes and MOD Pizza. The Seattle Seahawks and Microsoft also provided items for the special guests. It was an evening to remember!
