The 4th Annual DJ Steph Floss Weekend was a success! This year, the foundation partnered with The American Cancer Society and donated partial proceeds to the Real Men Wear Pink campaign, to share the love and support for an equally important foundation.
The festivities kicked off Thursday, October 25th with an #EastVsWest Selective Hearing event at Park Social Lounge, where DJ Steph Floss highlighted west coast beats and DJ Meel highlighted east coast beats.
Friday’s merriments began with Community Giveback Day at Denison Elementary School and New Tech East High School. To award them for their academic achievements and improvements, students at Denison received free pizza from Papas Primos, and students at New Tech East High School received pizza, items from Z.1079, and performances by Ray Jr., Ripp Flamez, Big 40, Nahzzy and Legend.
Since The Steph Floss Foundation focuses on health and fitness, it was only right to continue the partnership with Rise Nation and host another “My Vice is Versa” versaclimbing workout class. That same night, Steph held a Silent Disco with Real Revenue’s #HushCle, which involved two DJs, two channels and lots of dancing! DJ Steph Cakes and DJ Bandcamp kept the crowd moving while attendees switched their stations back and forth to enjoy the sounds of both. But the weekend didn’t end there.
Cleveland’s very own, Kashmir Thompson, led a sip and paint Saturday, where attendees allowed their creative juices and hidden artistry to flow. Steph then hosted his yearly Halloween party at Medusa Restaurant and Lounge, where actor and musician Rotimi made an appearance.
On Sunday, the weekend concluded with the annual #RunWithTheWinners5K downtown, Browns & Brunch at Skylight Penthouse and “The Finale” at Rumor. As always, this weekend was packed with hard work and fun, but we enjoyed coordinating and managing it. Thanks to all of our sponsors, Villa, Ilthy, Papas Primos, Chef Dunny, Z 107.9, Rise Nation, Stark Enterprises, Avion, Absolut, Dave’s Market, Anna in the Raw, Martell, Destiny Fulfilled, Mr. Flaggs, Jaylauna, Yulissa, BK Visuals and The Socialite Booth.
