Karen Civil Day kicked off at the Barclays Center for the third consecutive year to raise money for the Live Civil Foundation. And of course, we were there to aid in the coordination and on-site management of it all! The game was sold out as the Nets looked to defeat the Washington Wizards. With excitement in their eyes, the Live Civil Foundation provided students from a NY elementary school the opportunity to high five the payers as they came out the tunnel. How cool right?! However, the adults in attendance weren’t left out of the pre-game festivities either as they had the opportunity to network and capture a quick photo at the photobooth in the billboard lounge.
During the game, Karen sat courtside with Angela Yee, Ming Lee, Lenny S, Dave East, Cassanova, Mack Wilds, and Lore’l. Once the game concluded, Karen hung around for a meet and greet with fans where she snapped photos, gave out branded balls as gifts and signed copies of her book, Be You & Live Civil: Tools for Unlocking Your Potential & Living Your Purpose.
