We believe that everyone should have “A Good Christmas.” In light of this, alongside DJ Steph floss and DJ Meel we coordinated an event to aid in spreading some holiday cheer to five underserved families provided by Adopt A Family organization.
The event was held at Spaces & CO, where we transformed the event space into a Christmas Wonderland filled with hanging ornaments, a Christmas tree, hot chocolate, crafts, a delicious full-course meal provided by Pearl Flower Catering and more!
As you know, Christmas isn’t a Christmas without Santa so “Santa Floss” came to town with presents to spare. Each child excitedly sat on Santa’s lap telling Santa what they wanted for Christmas. Before “Santa Floss” headed back to the North Pole, he informed everyone in attendance that he had a surprise gift; tickets to the Cleveland Cavaliers game for the night!
But that wasn’t all! With the assistance of Sarzo Construction, Dash Properties, At The Table Solutions, Andrew Hawkins and Medusa Restaurant & Lounge we were able to grant the wishlist of the children of each family. In addition to the gifts they received from their company sponsor, they each received a pair of shoes from Villa. Although it was all about putting a smile on the children’s faces, we couldn’t forget about the mothers so we (Elmnt13, DJ Steph Floss, and DJ Meel) made sure they were taken care of too!
As the event began to conclude, we all headed over to Quicken Loans Arena to watch the Cavs take on the Utah Jazz in a suite. Once there, the kids received more gifts and had a chance to see themselves on the Jumbotron making it a night they’d never forget.
All in all, the families left overjoyed and thankful for the help they received this Christmas. And us, well we were just as overjoyed and grateful that we were able to help and make it after all, A Good Christmas!
