Christian “Kirko” Kirksey Hosts 2nd Annual Football Camp
Christian Kirksey, St. Louis native and Linebacker of the Cleveland Browns, held his 2nd Annual Football Camp, presented by his non-profit organization, Kirkoland, coordinated and managed by us. In association with USA Football, he, along with NFL peers, provided a full day of drills and skill development courses at his alma mater, Hazelwood East High School.
By introducing the basic skills of football to children, FUNdamentals provided an active and entertaining twist to sports education. Certified clinicians used a series of drills to demonstrate catching, passing and running skills in a non-contact setting, which is based on USA Football Player’s Progression Development Model. Since Hazelwood East High School is where Christian’s football career began, he took this chance to present the same opportunity to young fans. Along with a fun and fit day, campers received a gift and nutritious, energy-giving lunch. Christian enjoyed spending time with his young fans, and of course we enjoyed putting it all together.
