Giving back to youth and individuals in need are important core principles for NFL linebacker, Christian Kirksey. So important that in 2018, Christian launched his non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, Kirkoland. Through Kirkoland, Christian hosted a fashion show to benefit Cleveland schools, a day at Cedar Point amusement park for kids, free youth camp in his hometown St.Louis, served meals to the homeless on Thanksgiving Day, adopted families in need for Christmas and so much more!
The aforementioned commitments along with Christian’s contributions to his team did not go unnoticed, as he was named the Cleveland Browns 2018 Walter Payton Man of the Year, presented by Nationwide. He was recognized among the NFL’s best players for his performance on the field and his off the field commitment to the community.
We were excited for Christian as it was a well deserved honor for his dedication to the Cleveland and St.Louis community. We shared in the celebration of the nomination as contributors to his off the field initiatives and joined him in attendance at the NFL Honors in Atlanta where he was officially honored as a nominee for Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year.
