“Hip-Hop Vs. Trump” Panel At #REVOLTMusicConference
In light of Donald Trump being in office, REVOLT Music Conference decided to host and organize a critically and culturally important panel, “Hip Hop vs. Trump”. The panel consisted of artists, activists and writers to discuss and explain how they use the power of hip-hop to challenge the political system. Of course, an expertly curated panel such as this called for the media maven herself, Karen Civil and one of our all-time favorite moderators, Jeff Johnson. Also included on the panel was Mysonne, Joey Bada$$, T.I., Datwon Thomas, Vanessa Satten, David Banner, and more. The discussion got very intense as panelists spoke passionately and audience members chimed in with their sentiments. We had the pleasure of providing booking management to aid in Karen’s panel involvement and to be amidst the conversation providing on-site management as well.
