We had the honor of coordinating and providing on-site event management for Amirah “Mimi” O’Neal’s Sweet 16 in Hollywood, CA. Mimi is the oldest daughter of retired basketball star Shaquille O’Neal and Basketball Wives Executive Producer, Shaunie O’Neal. To make her birthday sweet, we transformed the W Hollywood hotel’s rooftop with city skyline views into “Mimi’s Nightclub.” Upon arrival, attendees snapped a photo on the pink carpet and were greeted with branded wristbands for entree and of course we had a special one for our VIP’s. VIP attendees were provided with not only special wristbands, but VIP sections as well.
For all those who “ended up at Mimi’s,” they enjoyed an open bar (non-alcoholic for the kids underage of course!), great music and the ultimate surprise….a performance by rapper YG. YG took the stage and had everyone jumping, even the floor, literally! It was definitely a night to remember and the Socialite Booth helped us capture the moments!
The party’s success earned press recognition from many outlets including E! News, TMZ, and VH1.
