Essence Fest celebrated 22 years as it kicked off 4th of July weekend in New Orleans, LA with a star-studded lineup of performers such as Kendrick Lamar, Mariah Carey, Ciara, Maxwell, Jeremih, the Bad Boy Family and more!
Essence wanted to add to the party with its new addition, Money & Power Expo. The Money & Power Expo is Essence Festival’s newest platform that included experiences focused on providing tools to build your money & power. And of course, they asked our very own Karen Civil to do the honors and host the stage from Friday-Sunday. Karen hosted the Money & Power Expo stage with style and grace as she welcomed TD Jakes, Yolanda Adams, Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Buress, Yandy Smith, Anthony Anderson and many more to the stage. We not only had the opportunity to coordinate the booking, but to also sit front and center and watch Karen and the various celebrity guests hit the stage!
