Verizon’s innovative learning program for minority males takes a unique approach to improving education in some of the most challenging school environments in America. It was of dire importance to Verizon to increase awareness of the program during Essence Fest. Verizon gave customers access to great experiences through a series of main stage moments and celebrity appearances by Kelly Rowland, Dej Loaf, Terrence J., Maxwell, Omari Hardwick, Kwame Trotman, and Karl Anthony Towns just to name a few. To further aid in increasing awareness, Verizon pushed its social agenda through Karen Civil’s social outlets as she shared Verizon’s Essence involvement with over a million followers. It was an honor working with Verizon and cultivating the partnership to further impact the community in and out of New Orleans.
